PREP: 5 MIN // COOK: 1.5 HRS // YIELD: 6-8 SERVINGS
| 2 c honey nut @chexmix cereal
| 1 1/2 c pretzel sticks
| 1/3 c butter
| 1/3 c @portlandsyrups Autumn Spice Syrup
| 1/4 c sugar
| 1/4 tsp nutmeg
| 1/4 tsp cinnamon
| 1/4 tsp salt
| 1/4 c candied orange peel
Place seeds, nuts, Chex, and pretzels in a bowl. Put all remaining ingredients (besides the orange peel) in a small pot and place on the stove at medium heat. Leave for about 5-7 minutes or until everything is melted and bubbling, stirring occasionally. Pour hot mixture over dried snack mix and gently toss to coat. Pour coated mixture into an even, single layer over a greased and parchment lined baking sheet. Bake at 275F for 1 1/2 hours, flipping mixture at least once at the half way point. Once the mix has finished cooking, remove the parchment from the pan to allow the mix to cool. Once cooled, toss in the orange peel and get to snacking!
