Ginger Turmeric Golden Milk

A perfect remedy for the winter blues, our Ginger Turmeric Golden Milk recipe is delightfully creamy and pleasantly aromatic.



PREP: 12 MINS   //   YIELD: 1 SERVING
INGREDIENTS
|  1 cup milk of choice (we used a full-fat, unsweetened coconut milk)
|  1 oz @portlandsyrups Ginger syrup
|  1/2 tsp ground turmeric
|  1 big pinch each of black pepper, ground cardamom and ground cinnamon
|  1 star anise (optional)
|  1/4 tsp raw honey

DIRECTIONS

|  Whisk together and simmer all ingredients (except honey) in a pot over medium heat for 10 minutes (not a boil).

|  Remove from heat and add honey.

|  Blend by hand or in a high-speed blender for a frothier drink.
